Andi learned to knit as a small child in Yorkshire in the early ’70’s. Back in the days when yarn choices were acrylic and knitting the obligatory navy school sweater a mind numbing chore, she was more interested in the process than the result. Like many knitters, she has a chequered past when it comes to actually “liking” FO’s. These days, Andi loves all aspects of knitting, especially design and teaching. However, she still finds the greatest joy in the simple mechanics of the art.
Although knitting is her passion, it is not her main passion. Having 2 boys with autism keeps her on her toes. Andi is a passionate advocate for special education rights, and can usually be found vociferously arguing with her computer screen as she reads case law.
